Vanessa Johnson has been a Peninsula local for most of her life. Her passion for the region was the reason for her first start up venture, the Emu Plains Market in 2012. Since then the market has become a creative hub for entrepreneurs, hopeless craft addicts and plain old regular cool people.
The success of Emu Plains Market sparked a passionate love affair for bringing like-minded people together to enjoy time as a community in knock out beautiful locations. This lead to the creation of her second market in 2017 in her beloved hometown of Frankston aptly called Little Beauty.
Fast forward a few more years and she now also operates a bricks & mortar store in Mornington called Albert & Daphne where she loves supporting local makers and showcasing unique brands from across the globe.
She currently lives in Somers and is mum to two super sweet kids, Ned & Mabel and one big brown (naughty) dog Mike and wife to an incredibly supportive husband and business partner Joel, life is good!
