DACE Little Studio
Creative Art Experiences for Young Artists
This year, DACE is excited to introduce DACE Little Studio – a dedicated creative space where children can explore, create and be inspired through a range of hands-on art and craft activities.
Families are welcome to visit our free creative area, or take part in our supervised paid workshops, where children can enjoy a variety of engaging projects designed especially for young artists. Parents and carers are welcome to stay and create alongside their children, or make use of our convenient drop-and-go option.
Inspired by the creativity and craftsmanship showcased throughout the DACE exhibition, our paid activities have been carefully designed for children aged 5–12 years, encouraging imagination, self-expression and artistic exploration.

Community Art Project
Everyone is invited to contribute to our special Community Artwork. Children and adults alike can decorate a gum leaf and add it to a large Bundjil-inspired collaborative artwork, celebrating the idea that both community and nature thrive when we work together. Once completed, this meaningful artwork will be proudly displayed at Derinya as a lasting reminder of the creativity, connection and community spirit shared at DACE.
