ARTIST BIO

Lizzie Alsop is a contemporary artist who works from her home studio on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. She has been a creative all her life and launched into her art full time after a move to the coast over fifteen years ago. 

Her artwork is described as a joyful and colourful mix of abstract and realism.  

Lizzie loves to create and express the wonder of her natural environment with abstract layers of geometric shapes and botanicals ( mainly Australian Natives).  Mediums used are a combination of acrylic, ink, pastel, and collage. 

She gathers her inspiration from spending time walking the coastal tracks, and ocean swimming. 

Lizzie has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions on the Mornington Peninsula and in Melbourne. Her artwork is in private collections globally.
