ARTIST NOTES: Sometimes, the greatest rewards come after weathering the storm. Whilst chasing a lightning storm, I got caught under hail and heavy rain, with no shelter in sight. Just as the storm passed and I was going to go back to my car to get dry and warm, the sky revealed its gift—an awe-inspiring double rainbow arching over the horizon, casting light upon the marina below.
In this image, I sought to capture the contrast between nature’s raw power and its serene beauty, a reminder that perseverance often leads to moments of pure wonder.
