ARTIST BIO

I enjoy drawing and painting anything in the garden. Plants, birds, and insects find their way onto my sketchpad. I find inspiration in the small and beautiful parts of nature. I started drawing a few years ago on a sketching tour of Greece, the tutor sat us down in a garden and told us to look at a white pot and discover the many colours in white. After that we spent the morning drawing and I don’t think I have stopped. I have attended classes with the Friends of the Royal Botanical Gardens and found real enjoyment in trying to capture the details of nature in an artistic way.
